Our mission at Family Piano Academy (FPA) is to provide a relaxed, inviting environment in which dedicated instructors can help students of all ages and levels to perform, understand, and love music. Established in 2007, FPA is a creative piano academy with a proven curriculum that teaches improvisation and composition alongside standard technique and repertoire. FPA is more than piano lessons for kids – scores of enthusiastic teens and adults study with us, too. Whether you’re interested in piano lessons, guitar lessons, bass lessons, or voice lessons, come enjoy a free trial lesson with us. We look forward to guiding you on your musical journey.
All prospective students are invited for a free 30-minute, no obligation trial lesson. Fill out our trial request form to let us know you are interested and a representative from FPA will be in contact with you shortly to set up your appointment.

In our piano lessons and duet piano classes, the Diamond Piano Method is the staple of our beginner-intermediate study. This theory-focused method prepares students to create their own music and is supplemented by a variety of online, at-home tools. Learn more about it here.
We are open six days a week and have multiple teachers on staff. This allows us to offer a huge variety of times for our students to schedule their piano lessons, guitar lessons, bass lessons, or voice lessons. We also generously allow students to reschedule their missed lessons with their teacher as long as we have received 24 or more hours’ notice of the student missing that lesson.
While piano is our primary focus, many of the talented musicians on our staff are able to offer quality guitar, bass, voice, and violin lessons. Our staff also come from a wide variety of backgrounds, so whether you’re wanting to explore jazz improvisation, study classical piano, or learn songwriting, we have teachers on staff well suited to help you.
Family Piano Academy caters to the home school community by offering discounted rates for students who are able to schedule their lessons on a weekday before 3 PM. This offer is also available to retired adults and those with flexible work schedules, too!
